The Goldenrod wildflowers have been absolutely breathtaking the past few weeks along with a number of other fall wildflowers. Funny how I never noticed these flowers until I started doing family photography and now I seriously have a wildflower radar!
The Goodmans were probably the last family this season to enjoy a Goldenrod wildflower session as they are on their way out now. Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana did not disappoint though in their wildflower show, and if you have not been to that park before, you definitely have to check it out! My kids both can do the 1 mile hike around the small lake and we love bringing a picnic with us.
On another note, this family is seriously one of the most fun and good natured families. As you can tell from their photos, we had a lot of fun! Sometimes you just have to capture the chaos of having small children… because it is seriously a beautiful mess!
My goal is not “picture perfect” but rather to capture perfectly the and love and connection felt between family so that it can be savored and remembered for years to come.
