A Spring Family Session at Purdue Horticulture Park

My passion is capturing photographs of heartfelt moments for families to savor forever as keepsake memories. Whenever I'm not helping your family, you can find me loving on my own. Camping trips, boba tea, and card games are our favorite ways to connect!

It has been an overly rainy spring and my photography sessions have been postponed and rescheduled more than I can count, including this beautiful family’s… but they were patient with the weather and me to find the perfect evening for their gorgeous family session at Purdue’s Horticulture Park in West Lafayette, Indiana.

Little Rena started out the session a little shy and wary of me, but I always take the first few minutes of the session to connect with the little ones and before long, we were holding hands and running down the path together! Her smile and vibrant personality appeared soon after, and we had such a fun time together capturing beautiful moments of love and connection.

The Ota family is from Japan and moved to Lafayette for their work at the Subaru Plant. I told them that I was not familiar with Japanese photography style and cultural norms, but they were gracious with me and expressed how they really wanted an American photography experience. I think you can tell from their smiles and expressions, that they had a good time too!
